About the BCMB
Beverage Container Management Board
The BCMB is a Delegated Administrative Organization (DAO) appointed by the Government of Alberta's Ministry of Environment and Protected Areas to impose regulatory requirements on Alberta's recycling system stakeholders.
Operating as a not-for-profit organization under the Societies Act of Alberta, we are mandated to regulate and enhance a leading and sustainable beverage container system that protects Alberta's environment.

Collaboration has long been the cornerstone of the beverage container recycling industry in Alberta and has helped make it one of the most successful systems of its kind in North America.
